Guest guest
Actually it's thanks PT. She posted this in a message one day when we were all talking about out brown rice and how we dish it up. I tried this right away. It's a plus. I have 4 people making it this way now. I wrote the recipe in my book so I will never forget...........You might not have joined the group at the itme she mentioned this recipe. You'll enjoy it, Donna PuterWitch <puterwitch wrote:wow this sounds so good! Years and years ago my Thai Aunt used to get her ground peanut from her local Asian market. When they went under she was unable to get the ground peanut anymore. My mom came up with the idea of using peanut butter instead, and jan-ya wrinkled up her cute nose at the idea, but after we tried it even she agreed it was very close, and she used it from then on instead of having to make the ground peanut herself, I am talking 1970's here. ) Next time I make rice I am doing this, thanks Donna! After you cook one cup of brown rice, stir in one chopped onion, 1 clove pressed garlic, spoonful of peanut butter, sesame seeds and a little teriyaki or dipping sauce. I also added a touch of red pepper flakes...........Donna " Each morning we are born again. What we do today is what matters most. Guest guest
Aw shucks, Donna. *lol* Actually i came up with it once because this is how i like to eat Asian noodles. One day i was out of noodles but i had some brown rice and thought what the heck.... Fusion cuisine! Probably the brown rice is better for us than those fattening noodles anyway. Gots to be able to keep squeezin' into my jeans! ~ pt~ You can tell the size of a man by the size of the thing that makes him mad. ~ Adlai E.
