Green pea glut....

Hey folks.... DH & I are preparing for cross-country move in a small

car, so saving frozen foods is not going to be an option. I just

found a huge bag (5#) of frozen green peas in the bottom of our chest

freezer... we have only about 2 weeks altogether here (some time will

be traveling in NY before we go to CA) before we leave, so we're going

to be eating peas! Tonight I am making mattar paneer, but do y'all

have any other good pea-intensive recipes??

a popular german food is pea soup. personally i find it yucky but its

an idea

 

other than that, use them as side dishes or maybe in a pot pie?

I usually make pea soup with dry split peas... I dunno if it could be

made with green peas??

I'll do my best; thanks for the ideas. Already made pasta salad with

loads of peas.... :-)
