Guest guest
LOL i must be a peanut-buttertarian or at least a nuttertarian because I love nut butters and nuts. When my mom was pregnant with me she said she ate a lot of pb & j which might explain that. When I first became vegetarian I realized that I disliked the name because when I was younger I used to think that it meant that you just ate vegetables...I didnt even think of it in plant based terms. But I'm with you, I will eat meals with people who eat meat and though I may not like the smell of what they are eating the fact that we are eating together is nice. And I'll be moving in with my parents in a month who are not vegetarian and I hope they will respect my being a vegetarian, in which case I will then respect theirs to not be. I don't make any comments about what others are eating and only hope that they don't comment about their own but if they eat something vegetarian with me I do comment positively then. I brought two friends to a 100% vegetarian restaurant the other day in town. One is a vegetarian, the other is not. They both loved it! I was happy. Though I definitely think of icky words and terms or images when I see people eating meat I keep those in my head. Who knows maybe when I'm back on english speaking turf I'll use those terms proactively in places where they will do good. -Katie , GeminiDragon <thelilacflower> wrote: > LOL OK crunchy or smooth?........I love the super chunks in mine. > Everyone is welcome in my home too, so if they drop by to give me a hug and happen to have a burger in their fast food bag they can sit down and eat it up, I'd rather have their love and conversation. > Off to saute kale and onions. I love that veggie now. Glad Susie sent a recipe in with it or I would have probably never tried it. > Donna > > subprong <subprong@g...> wrote: > On 7/21/05, > Life is too short to determine who I'll let in my house based on their > eating preferences. Guest guest
smooth/creamy on sandwiches and in general although there's a cafe in the US i used to visit that made 'gourmet' pbj sandwiches and they used creamy peanut butter with finely chopped fresh peanuts in it (so chunky fresh). And fresh strawberries sliced. And the bread was toasted. Best pb & j in the world. -Katie , GeminiDragon <thelilacflower> wrote: > LOL OK crunchy or smooth?........ The chunks in cruncy really hurt my gums (where my lower wisdom teeth used to be). But I still buy the natural, with the oil seperation. I have two jars open right now; one at home: Smuckers All Natural w/Honey and one at work: Valencia Organic

I usually keep smooth in the house though, 'cause DH prefers the smooth...
