Guest guest
On 7/21/05, Life is too short to determine who I'll let in my house based on their eating preferences. That's just me. I, as well, won't go bonkers or feel like I need to torture myself if I " accidentally " ate something I hadn't expected to. (Heck even " purposefully " - we all have our various reasons for being an ovo/lacto veg, vegan, peanut-butteratarian, etc.) Just a little life lesson too - in general you can't trust/rely on anyone most of the time and sometimes you can't rely on yourself. If you think " some " waitstaff or servers or cooks or chefs don't lie to make things easier on themselves (or actually do know all the ingredients listed in every dish in some of these places) then you're in for a big surprise. Just because someone tells you it's " vegan " or " vegetarian " friendly (and hasn't been cross contaminated with me*at) doesn't necessarily mean it actually is the case. So unless you send in a bit of your food to get it analyzed, then you're " hoping " it's as they say. ------------------------------ >
