case there is such thing as a dumb question)! :)

Btw, can I have the address to that store?? ;)

Here is a blurry picture of a jalp with a nub on it. I decided

to spare the poor guy and show some class by not eating it

or selling it on ebay.

~ LOL... i will tell him! When he tastes the good cooking i

do with these peppers he will know how silly that question

is. i am going to mince some up to toss in that slaw i am

making, too.

The store is the same place i found the good deal on the

avocado oil. It is called Grocery Outlet, and they get

overstock items from other retailers and sell them for

dirt cheap. i always shop there first ...and then if they

don't have certain items i need i go to other stores.

When they get good items i stock up because you never

know when or if they will have it again. Yesterday i also

scored on some cartons of Imagine brand organic vegetable

stock.

BTW, i love that jalap pic. Looks like Elvis! *lol*

I wish that Outlet place was located down in the South. I swear I'd stock up

- nothing like bargain deals on food.

That slaw idea sounds great. I tried to find a jalapeno/creamy soup recipe

that I had (I'll check the files, I might have saved it from here). I've

been wanting to try and make it. I believe the jalps are deseeded and

demembraned so that you get more flavor from them than you do heat.

Let us know what you end up doing with the jalapenos and the avocado oil.

S. :) (still trying to figure out if the jalp looks like the young Elvis or

the old Elvis)
