apfelschorle!

Love to assist! Apfelschorle basically means carbonated apple juice.

The ingredients are apple juice (60%), natural mineralwater and

carbonation. Every Thanksgiving and Christmas in my family, we buy a

specific brand of apple cider and it is a once or twice a year treat

and very delicious. I came to Germany and found apfelschorle and I

think it tastes very similar so for me it has both a really good flavor

and sort of sentimental tranditional attachment.

 

Over here the CocaCola company makes it, called 'Lift' but I buy the

organic company's kind. I think it could probably be made with

some 'club soda' and apple juice and I've heard there are similar

drinks in the US available in gourmet markets but haven't had them so I

don't know how similar. Since it's more of a soda I don't drink it very

often, I'm more of a water-chugger, but I had a bottle last week and

bought another today! heh.
