Guest guest
yup colorblindness occurs predominantly in males and only very rarely in females. My dad is also red-green colorblind so I probably got it from him. But even my dad and I see colors different. Whenever it comes up on an occassion he'll say 'i see x like this' and i'll say 'well i see it like y'. We were discussing a few weeks ago what colors we see during fourth of july fireworks...I see mostly white or blue and only rarely a greenish or reddish. But he says he sees red and green ones. I think the thing thats most surprised me about the colorblindness is when I went to go see the powerpuffgirls movie in the movie theater. Theres a lot of flashing of the colors of the girls costumes (green, pink and blue) and at first I commented about how it must cause seizures but then 3/4 of the way into the film the flashing got to me so much I stopped seeing colors almost entirely. For the rest of the movie all I saw was blurs of pink, green and blue and no other colors. I went back to 'normal' after the movie was over but it freaked me out and I'd never heard of it happening to anyone else I know colorblind or not. -Katie , GeminiDragon <thelilacflower> wrote: > Katie aren't most opeople with color blindness men?
