Janet Evanovich is a riot, her Stephanie Plum female bounty hunter series will have you laughing out loud. The frist one is One for the Money. I have read all Sue Grafton's too. She's very good. I like Robert Parker also. There are so many different authors that many have escaped my mind right now. I really like Sue Mott Davidson, she is a woman running her catering service from her home and there's always a murder to solve, she's got a great sense of humor plus she adds a few recipes in her books.
