Guest guest
Sounds good, Chanda! I made stir-fry last night too! Mine was: Saute until golden brown 1 package of tempeh (cut in ~3/4 " cubes),using too much oil like you ;-). Move to the side of the pan. Add a bunch of minced garlic and cook until golden. Add chopped broccoli florets and ~1/2 cup water. Set a lid on to steam for a couple of minutes. Remove lid, turn heat to high. Add 3/4 c orange juice, some orange zest, a 1/4 tsp five spice, a pinch of cayenne. Heat to boiling. In a separate cup, mix 1/2 cup of water and a tablespoon of cornstarch. SLowly pour into boiling veggies, stirring continuously. Cook til the sauce is glossy. It was good, but I think it would work better with carrots and bell peppers and water chestnut, rather than the broccoli! :-) It was really good on the tempeh. Oh yeah, serve over brown basmati.
