Guest guest
Does anyone know the proper way to eat miso soup in a restaurant? I'm planning on visiting the local sushi bar once more before I leave Germany and while I'm a master at sushi I am clueless at miso. It comes in a bowl and has the actual miso ingredients inside. Chopsticks are already available at the table upon entering the restaurant. No silverwear. Do you eat the miso with the chopsticks and drink the rest/broth from the bowl? Or do you drink the entire thing miso and all? I normally dont get miso soup at the sushi bars in the US but here it comes with the meal, which is nice, but leaves me stumped. Anyone know? -Katie PS had great egyptian falafel with joghurt dressing, pita bread and herb salad for lunch. it was super tasty.
Guest guest
Drink straight from the bowl and then if you have any bits left over, eat them with the chopsticks. And in Japan, you are supposed to slurp! Denise Mmm, my friend in Portland always made the best Miso soup. , " budgiegirl2003 " <budgiegirl2003> wrote: > Does anyone know the proper way to eat miso soup in a restaurant?
