Guest guest
yep thats about what I do here. but I like the big flaky oats so i just use them whole, although small finer flakes are available in the stores here too. i use 100g about...cant believe i have to go back to us measurements! metric makes so much sense. i pour the oats in a bowl, add a pinch of raisins and some cinnamon and then pour boiling water over. after about 5 min its at the thickness i like it and cool enough to eat! are there different sizes of oats available in the us? though i may try quaker again, i know they have actual plain oats that are just oats (i think in the tube) but i'll probably look around at whats in the organic section or stores too. -Katie , " Amy " <sandpiperhiker> wrote: > > > My mom had sent me some quaker instant oatmeal plain and I tried it > > last week and all it did was make me sick.
