crispy tortillas

actually , the cornbread is seperate.. it's left over from last night.

=)

 

teh crispy tortillas are really easy.

 

I used to call them tortilla pizzas. I've been making these since I

was a little girl.

 

I used to do two tortillas, but now I use one, and just fold it in

half.. it's easier to flip that way.

 

so.. I spread refried beans on a tortilla and crisp it in the frying

pan ( no oil needed) ... the beans do not need to be heated because

they get hot while the tortillas is cooking.

 

that's the basic 'recipe "

 

its even better when you doctor it up..

I add any or all of the following!

 

salsa

brown rice

black beans

soy cheese

avocado

soy sour cream

chopped onions

lettuce & tomatoes (I'd add those after it's all hot & crispy so they

don't get yucky and wilty)

 

hmm.. what else..

you could add corn

really anything that sounds good!

 

these are so yummy!

and easy!
