Guest guest
Oh I wish I could still donate blood. I've been black-listed along with anyone else who has lived in Europe for more than 6 months at a time. I don't even think I ate beef when I lived in Germany! But they can't take people's word for it so they've just banned it right through. At first it was just England, but now they've included all of Europe. And I had worked real hard on my diet, getting my hemoglobin to the right levels at any time of the month and I had earned my 1 gallon pin! I wish they would put more money into finding a way to test people for BSE! (or is it BES?) Was this the first time donating? I hope your fainting didn't scare you aware from donating again. Next time, make sure you eat something before hand. I commend you for donating, not enough people do it! Denise , GeminiDragon <thelilacflower> wrote: > Eeeeeeeeeee! Red Cross had a drive and I was the first one to donate blood at work. I fainted half way and they kept me there for 2 hrs feeding me juice and sweets and said to make sure I didn't tell any of the other employees I fainted for fear they would back out....LOL > > " If you know it, I respect you!
