Guest guest
I wanted to nibble on each leaf... 'till I got to the center... I get the jar ones.......now those you can suck right down in a few minutes...LOL I just had an artichoke for my dinner. Took so long to eat it, I felt like I had to be full! Guest guest
I agree, the best part of eating an artichoke is working toward the reward! The leaves are just as delicious! And I've never liked the jarred hearts because they're pickled and too oily. I like the plain, sweet flavor of an artichoke heart with maybe a touch of butter. Our dog also loves to share the leaves with us. We hold the leaf and she pulls off the flesh! Funny. Denise , Jiraph Wirpel <wirpel> wrote: > > > > I wanted to nibble on each leaf...
