Nobody " studied " me. I've been vegetarian for 36

years, and I am roly-poly.

 

 

Observers can logically obscure their findings. Here's

one of my favorite jokes:

 

A scientist had a trained fly, trained to jump on

command.

 

" Jump, Fly!. Jump, " ordered the scientist.

 

The fly jumped.

 

The scientist noted in his data that, with six legs, a

fly can jump.

 

Then the scientist took his tweezers and removed two

of the fly's legs.

 

" Jump, Fly! Jump! "

 

Again, the fly jumped.

 

The scientist noted in his data that, with four legs,

a fly can jump.

 

Then the scientist took his tweezers and removed two

more of the fly's legs.

" Jump, Fly! Jump! "

 

Again, the fly jumped.

 

The scientist noted in his data that, with two legs, a

fly can still jump.

 

Then the scientist took his tweezers and removed the

last two of the fly's legs.

 

" Jump, Fly! Jump! "

 

Nothing...

 

" Jump, Fly! Jump! Jump, Fly Jump!!!

 

Still... the fly did not jump.

 

Again, he ordered for the fly to jump.

 

Still... the fly did not jump.

 

The scientist then wrote in his data that, when all

six legs have been removed from a fly, the fly becomes

deaf.
