carob's iron

I put unsweetened carob powder into some cookie

recipes, as well as a bowl of oatmeal, sometimes. It

adds a little nutrition and some nice flavor.... I

didn't know it had iron. That's cool.

Yeah, I'm not sure if it is super lots of iron...I just remember my

delight when I read (perhaps in Laurels) that it was a source & it so

hit the spot during pregnancy...that and berble (sp?) at our favorite

indian restaraunt...contrary to most suggestions, not only did I crave

spicey foods but they settled my tummy sometimes!
