Guest guest
Believe me she does suffer with pain but she won't take anything, she uses herbal rubs on her joints and the herbal heating pads. She is afraid of the side effects of the drugs. Her diet is very rich in veggies, grains, etc. She just deals with it but I know this is one terrible disease. Even the next door neighbor has it and my boss has a sister a wife with it. Where in the world did it come from so suddenly? I can' believe the amount of people I know hat have it. Yes, I know you are depressed with it but hang in there. I just told Mom about you and she sends you hugs back...........Donna bookjunky wrote: Donna, how wonderful your mother is so healthy. I'm glad she is able to deal with fibromyalgia without medication. I am on so many meds and have so many things wrong with me....it's very depressing. How great it is to hear the new doctors graduating from med school are more open minded about vegetarian and vegan diets...it's about time, isn't it? Hugs to your mother...I hope her BP comes down. Guest guest
my mom has fibromyalgia too. she's miserable and in pain most of the time. her doctors have her on so many meds and half of the time they don't help. i worry about her being on anti-depressents, sleeping pills, pain pills, etc.... all that can't be helping (and if they do, it's only for a short period). of course, she doesn't take any advice from me...like changing her diet, eliminating sugar and diary (she lives on ice cream), taking a holistic approach (and using holistic doctors), getting some excercise, taking supplements, getting chiropractic treatment, etc.... one of my theories is that parasites/fungus overgrowth/yeast overgrowth are at least part of the problem. genetics also plays a part....my grandmother and aunt also have fibromyalgia. she has found some relief with nature's plus joint rx...it's a rub with glucosamine, chrondroitin, and msm....great for arthritis too. susie --- GeminiDragon <thelilacflower wrote: > Believe me she does suffer with pain but she won't > take anything, she uses herbal rubs on her joints > and the herbal heating pads.
