Jane: i am so glad that recipe for the mini meat-pies was the right one. i remember Virgil and i discussing them back around the holidays. That recipe was so simple and quick...such a no-brainer. [i need more no-brain recipes these days!]. i recall he said all the meat-eater folks loved them, so you can't beat that for a party finger food for mixed gatherings. i am going to make these for the next domino party [Mexican Train] i go to. i am the only vegetarian at those. Donna: Those sesame noodles sound yummalicious! i loved the cold sesame noodles i used to get in NYC. They had some tahini or peanutbutter mixed in to them. You might try adding that to this recipe, too... though your recipe sounds great as is. A wonderful cool, but satisfying dish for the hot summer ahead. Pearl: Thank you for posting so many interesting recipes. That recipe for the muffaletta was awesome. Mmmmm. On to next digest... ~ pt ~ The four things which a violent life brings: it shrinks borders, it increases enmity, it destroys life and prolongs pains. ~ Colm‡n Mac BrŽognae, 'Agipt'r Ch‡baid', Irish poem
