Guest guest
At the 99 cent store at El Camino and Howe here in Sacramento, they have organic mac and cheese three for a dollar, lately. The brand is Back to Nature. It tastes good too (a little on the salty side). Kraft mac and cheese made me sick, but this organic stuff is lovely. Guest guest
Thanks, I will look for that brand, maybe Whole Foods has it. You know what I used to do with the dry cheese packet from the Krafy mac & cheese? I would toss it into my potatoes as I was mashing them..hehehehe Really it was good, haven't done that for years but if my nephew is making a box for himself I have to clean out the leftover 1/2 cup or so and enjoy it........Donna Taylor <veralinnyumsweet wrote:At the 99 cent store at El Camino and Howe here in Sacramento, they have organic mac and cheese three for a dollar, lately. I like the bunny mac & cheeses...can't remember the brand...might be back to nature? m
Guest guest
I think the bunny brand is Annie's Naturals? I like it, too. Guest guest
I like Annies products too, but if you get their mac and cheese you need to buy the " Certified Organic Macaroni & Cheese " because they don't use animal rennet in it. I emailed them and asked about their use with animal rennet and they said they didn't use animal rennet in that brand but in the other ones they did. I think they also produce Simply Organic pasta's as well and it also contains animal rennet in their mac and cheeses. I hope that helps some. Take care.
