Guest guest
Amy, if you can find these pattypan squash small (no more than 1 " diameter), then just saute them whole with some garlic, or maybe slice them in half. But they are fun and look wonderful in many dishes when they are whole. It's probably rare for a " normal " grocery store to carry them, but perhaps a local/specialty store would. They are usually abundant at farmers' markets, but not sure if you would find any quite yet. Guest guest
Trader Joe's has them frequently, which is nice cuz they are a favorite around our house...we like them cooked very lightly in a bit of butter or olive oil...with a bit of salt and parsley! m
