Cornmeal would probably work ok. Millet doesn't have much flavor in

baked goods that I've noticed.... but when you leave them whole it's

like a little crunchy bead... kind of like those silver nonpareil type

sugar beads, but much softer (though still crunchy). I like it a lot.
