Your Memorial Day celebrations sounded wonderful. Our holiday parade was held on Saturday and my son marched in it with a veteran's group dressed in a real vintage WW1 uniform that was worn in battle by an Irish NY fighting squad [? not sure if they are called squads or patrols]. He is only 12 and it was amazing that the uniform almost fit him perfectly. Hi Amy. Thanks for the b-day wishes. Yeah, we have many osprey here along the Rogue River in Southern Oregon; i love to hear their calls and watch them diving into the rapids to catch their dinner. They are such beautiful birds. Donna, i am glad you finally found out what an osprey really is.*lol* Those measuring spoons you found sound really cute. Thanks for sharing that cool link about the plight of the osprey in California, Amy. Denise, thanks for the b-day and anniversary wishes. i checked that CSA link that was posted and found one near me in Williams, OR. i will have to email them to get details. i like the whole idea of CSAs. Welcome to the group, labsnyorkies. It is great to have you here and posting your favorite recipe for breakfast. i hope you will enjoy the wonderful people on this list and all the helpful posts they share as much as i do. Melissa, that STORE WARS is so cute. i put a copy of it in our links section. My kids loved it. i really chuckled over the Darth Tater " more chemical than vegetable " line. Oh, and thanks also for the warm wishes on my " events " ; i'm getting old! *lol* ~ pt ~ Happiness is when what you think, what you say and what you do are in harmony. ~ Mahatma Gandhi (1869-1948)
