Guest guest
happy birthdate and anniversary,Pathouli Troll! There were several little parades, special services, grave decorations, and newspaper articles in several towns around me, in middle Georgia [uSA]. That almost died out 15 years ago but is coming back. There are only 30 or 60 people in USA who are vets of WWI; I don't know how many frm WWII, but do remember various men talking and crying abt the war, to my parents while sitting around the table drinking coffee.A few left their helmets...one paid my father for car repair with a german plastic piano shaped music box, which I didnt know is now valuable but gave to the Salvation Army 20 years ago. I am glad school is out early in May in most places...because there are so many graduations, weddings etc that time of year...we had our second family reunion in north Alabama....just before Mothers Day...the second sunday in May.The photog made great photos..she bought her expensive camera online..didnt have to pay the tax.
