Give the chile rellanos a try off the recipe I posted in early May. They are

good. I know when they make them in the Mexican restaurant they cook them super

fast in a vat of very oil. I watch my frineds make them at their restaurant.

At home we can only make the oil so hot and not as deep. I've had them stuffed

with potato and also onion slices. (:-))) Donna

i recently had a chile rellano

(in delaware, lol) that was stuffed with potatoes. i

have never had them that way. it was very good.

chile rellanos is a dish i haven't quite been able to

master at home....i can never get the batter right

(and i've tried many recipes).

hi donna,

i just went and found your chile rellanos recipe (and

posted it in the files...see below). i didn't realize

you could get the large roasted chiles in a can. i'll

keep my eye out for them (if i can't find them, i'll

just roast my own). i'll have to try them one of

these days (i'm wheat-free and dairy-free right

now...detox diet). thanks for directing me to the

recipe.
