Guest guest
Hi, One more thing: plants & seeds: <https://home.frognet.net/~complants/secure/cart/lc-lu.htm#LEV10> <http://www.richters.com/Web_store/web_store.cgi?product=X3780 & cart_id=282995.48\ 3> Plants <http://www.crimson-sage.com/shop/?shop=1 & cat=7 & cart=151361> <http://www.mountainvalleygrowers.com/levofficinalis.htm> Actually I take back one comment I made about growing lovage. I have a lovely tall black lovage (Smyrnium olusatrum) plant that is in semi-shade and seems to love it. Of course regular lovage is Levisticum officinalis so now I must go looking to discover how similar black lovage and lovage actually are. Ooh, I must go back and look at this page on black lovage <http://www.richters.com/newdisplay.cgi?page=./QandA/Chinese/20050202-1.html & car\ t_id=81.1496> I think I just need to move and/or plant my next regular lovage* in a less sunny spot. It gets fairly warm in the East San Francisco Bay Area (Tri-Valley) where I live. Sufficiently warm to crisp a plant that may grow well in full sun in other areas. Gary * Great fun, I originally typed that sentence, " I think I just need to move and/or plant my next regular love in a less sunny spot. " Please don't go looking for any of my former loves in my back yard. (unless I do need some soil turned over in particular areas . . . ;<) )
