Guest guest
That is so great to see you are in here with us and in Denmark, hope you have a Danish vegetarian recipe for me to try. I never ate any food made from a Danish recipe that I know of. I did make a few of Donna's Swedish recipes from the files, Chupa and Jack have some really good Middle Eastern recipes and the Asian folder is full of good ones too, they are all keepers, I test them on my big family, my Dad won't always try my cooking but everyone else does. Guest guest
Hi Deanna in Colerado !!! Thank you for you very nice mail.... Since my last mail i have been wondering IF I really have any recipie that are TRULY danish !!! I mean, danes are not excactely the healtiest people in the world, and certainly not happy to miss the danish bacon !!! LOL Looking through my books I wonder if the most isnt from other contries... looking in danish books, almost all vegetatian food is ...hmm not the headmeal...if you know what i menn !!! Always just a part of the meal, to support " the meat...well maybe i am beeing unfair !!! I will try to investigate it more .... the books and recipies i have are very...inspired by other part of the world ...so what is truly danish ??? I will find something though !!! It just hits me as a vegetarian who loves to look to other contries for inspirations...travels, and friens in other parts of the world... I eat healthy because i have to - healthproblems... - and i find it sooo amazing to find the hole new world in excotic spices and other ingredienses. ..!!! The danes have very long and solid traditions for meat-food.... and vegetables is, for 9 out of 10, still a PART of the meal...not the mainpart. ..hmmmm kind of interessting...well i just meant to say, that if i posted a recipe and you founf it to be from another part of the world...well yes that my thoughts about it !!! Guest guest
Rise, I always thought that Danes are famous for their pastries. My parents and grandparents often bought " Danish " , which was a coffeecake with poppy seeds. Do you make many pastries? GB Re: i am new Hi Rise Hi Deanna in Colerado !!!
