recipes from files

Hello!

I'd like to try the Taco Style Lentils & Rice recipe from the files

here, and I'm wondering if I can just throw it all in my crockpot?

I'd cook in it every night if I could figure out in the summer if I

could figure out how to convert recipes. Maybe add a bit less water?

I was going to try it with taco seasoning as suggested, instead of

buying all the separate spices.

I live in Arizona where boiling water for more than 5 minutes heats up

the house so much my too small air conditioner just can't keep the

house cool. Thanks for any advice you all can give me, I'm using this

group as my own personal cooking class, hope no one minds the

questions!
