I will give it a search when i have a free moment. Thanks for your suggestion.

:)

Now- my rice cooker is a plastic bowl with a lid and vents...

what does yours look like and of what is it madef?? I would be concerned about

the heat that the popcorn kernels need to explode would melt them into my rice

cooker.

And for the pasta inthe rice cooker- how do you do that- put in pasta and water

in what quantities?

Thanks,

I've done this many times and have always been successful. If you Google it,

you'll learn that many also do it without any problems. I recently bought a

microwave rice cooker and I'm thinking that might work well also. Have to

give it a shot.

Not to change the subject, but the rice cooker makes perfect pasta for one

very hungry person or two people (you can only cook two cups of pasta at a

time). Beats having to wait for that pot of water to boil. I was a little

leery as I'm kind of particular about my pasta....the bite has to be exactly

right.

Worked like a charm.

Hmmmm....I didn't think about it melting....mine is plastic too and came with

a basket insert and a vented lid.

As for the pasta....two cups or 5 oz. of pasta (I use 100% whole wheat), 2

1/2 cups water (salted if you like). Cook uncovered on high for five minutes,

stir and cook for another five minutes. Cover (with vents closed) and let sit

for 3-4 minutes.
