It depends on what type o f beans you cook. The ratio is about 3 cups of

water for one cup of beans. This will make about 3 cups of cooked beans. You

need to figure out how much you need. I think it is easier especially for large

beans like pinto and garbanzos to soak them the night before and then cook them.

They will cook much faster that way. A pressure cooker is also a fast way.
