Guest guest
Hi, my name is Kristen. I'm a wife and a mom of 3. I have decided to start cutting out my meat consumption slowly. When I was a in my early 20's I didn't eat meat for a few years but then started back up because I wasn't getting enough protein. But now there are many more options out there that are vegetarian with protein. Also, what is making me buy more vegetarian is that my 2 1/2 year old daughter doesn't really eat meat. She would just prefer to eat fruits and veggies over meat. We still eat eggs and dairy but not to much meat. I just wanted to join to get some good ideas on what kids like. And also to get some advice from people who have a spouse who is not a vegetarian? How do you all make that work? Thanks! Kristen

Guest guest
Hi Kristen - I just joined the group a few weeks back and just LOVE it! I have 3 kids too and a meat eater for a Hubbie as well. I can share loads of kid friendly meals. I will start posting them. I have not been doing postings like I would care to but I have a daughter who had a stroke in Feb and takes up a lot of time. As for my Husband he eats a lot of TV dinners. I do have a deal going with him as we speak that if he gives me 3 weeks of eating what I prepare and still doesn't feel satisfied and more healthy I will lay off the pressure. He did agree to it we just started on Sunday so Ill let ya know how it turns out. Kristen <the4yosts wrote: Hi, my name is Kristen. I'm a wife and a mom of 3. Guest guest
Wow, I'm sorry about your daughter. I hope she recovers, how old is she? It would be great if you could post some kid friendly meals, when you have the time. The only thing that I have noticed is that my 7 year old son is sensitive to soy. Every time he eats it, it just goes straight through him. Which is kind of weird because when he was a baby he was on soy formula because he was spitting up so much with my milk and regular formula! Anyway, thanks! Kristen Lori Owens <lovemyheavenly3 wrote: Hi Kristen - I just joined the group a few weeks back and just LOVE it! I have 3 kids too and a meat eater for a Hubbie as well. Guest guest
So funny I have a seven year old son too! He is a picky eater he would live off of rice and fruit if Id let him. My daughter is almost 12 her B-day is June 14th. She hasnt improved much since she came home from the hospital however she did make big changes in the hospital before we were released. Thank you for the good wishes on her health. I also have a 3 year old boy, he munches on stuff all day. I will sit down and get some stuff posted for kids. I hope you enjoy the group!
