Guest guest
I went to Amazon's sites to check out the reviews on the vegan cookbooks there. All of the ones mentioned got pretty good reviews. One review ws particularly interesting. It said to cut down the amount of yeast the Uncheese cookbook by half and to cut down on the lemon. After that I remembered the we have an old copy of Frank and Rosealie hurd's classic " Ten Talents " cookbook from the late 60s or early 70s. The Title page was missing. That has a lot of cheese sub recipes from both yeast and nuts and soy. I think it is out of print but a very good cookbook. I believe the authorswere 7th Day Adventists. People can probably get a used copy from eBay or some other place since a lot of copies were sold. I don't know, I just don't connect to those two books of hers. I had James Burke's Simply Heavenly cookbook and it wasn't a favorite as I started to use it so I gave it to Amy. I do love the " Garden of Vegan " and " How it all Vegan " They are easy fast recipes and they tell you how to sub. if you are missing an ingredients. You have a great garden growing.
