Guest guest Posted May 24, 2006 Report Share Posted May 24, 2006 I'm a 21 year old ex-vegan (i now eat free range eggs) and I thought by way of introduction I'd post what I had for lunch just now. Be warned, you might want to switch the scotch bonnet pepper with a bird's eye or something, they are the world's hottest chillies (so i'm told) 1 full size tomato 7 cherry tomatoes 1 onion 1 large clove garlic 1 scotch bonnet pepper tablespoon vinegar 1/2 glass white wine tsp salt tsp sugar oxo cube 100 ml water pasta (amount varies depending on how hungry you are) Chop the tomatoes, onion, garlic & chilli, then fry for 5 mins on a high temp in a lidded pan. Add the water, vinegar, wine, salt, sugar, oxo cube, remove the lid and boil down to a thick consistency. Meanwhile, cook the pasta in boiling water for about 10 mins, add a splash of olive oil to it ad toss it with the sauce. Delicious and spicy!
