Guest guest
I think soy is fine in moderation, soy milk on cereal, eating a veg. burger of the tofu hot dogs, I prefer rice milk myself. I was raised on soy milk since I have cow's milk allergy. Don't freak out. I really prefer making burgers from recipes out of the files and the dinner loaves. Why don't you try making a lentil loaf, you can crumble up the leftovers and make soft tacos the next day. wilbur <tabitha.wilbur wrote: Is this all true? Should I be worried about givng my kids soy milk? They dont like it any how and i am having a very hard time getting them to drink it. Is rice milk better, I mean does anyone like the taste of rice milk better than soy? No offense but it sounds like soy milk is worse than cows milk, thats if I read all of this right. Sorry if I sound like im freaking out I just want to make sure my kids get the nutrients they need. Thanks, Tabby " I guarantee you; this place will blow your mind. Guest guest
It could vary from person to person...if someone has allergies, autoimmune problems, I would think cow's milk will be a problem for them, but someone who is recovering from breast cancer high amounts of soy would be a problem for them. I am discovering the " food pyramid, " is not one size fits all. Like the other posts have said, don't panic : ) If your kids hate soy milk maybe back off for a while and just be careful to use organic milk and maybe try the soy again another time? I just bought some almond milk, because I realize I do need to cut down on my soy (was eating it at every meal and having a couple of soy lattes every day)... melissa p
