It is really easy to go from regular junk food to veggie junk food and

overconsume tofu, fake meat products,...I have also read that tempeh

is " safer " than tofu, but as an earlier post said, moderation is the

key! Breast cancer runs in my family and I have been careful about the

products I use (elliminate paraben containing shampoos, etc), but

haven't taken stock of how much soy I have been consuming until now...

I don't use milk, but have been using a large amount of silk soy

milk : ) does someone have a brand of almond milk (or other

alternative) that is close to silk soy milk? I will not even pretend

like I will make my own almond milk : )

Also, I have not yet tried Quorn products, but maybe they would be a

good substitituion for soy products occasionally.

If you are looking for a good soy-free veggie burger, Sunshine

Burgers have become my newest favorite convenince food!

thanks!

Melissa,

It is good to reanalyze your diet as you are doing. Higher cancer rates are

found with people who eat high protein diets, whether veggie or not. I know

almond milk is a pain to make. Have you tried making your own walnut milk? You

don't have to peel anything.
