Guest guest Posted May 21, 2006 Report Share Posted May 21, 2006 No Dairy Cabbage Slaw 1 small head green cabbage, cut into chunks 4 stalks celery, cut into chunks 3 carrots, in bite-sized chunks 1 green pepper, in bite-sized chunks 1 red pepper, in bite-sized chunks 1/2 cup toasted sesame seeds 1/2 cup salad oil 1 tablespoon sugar salt and pepper 2 tablespoons vinegar Combine cabbage, celery, carrots, the peppers, and optional sesame seeds. Mix oil, sugar, salt, pepper and vinegar. Toss the dressing well with the salad ingredients to blend. Salad " holds " and keeps for up to 3 days if refrigerated.
