Today I contacted the FDA(Federal Drug Admistration) and advised them

that imported vanilla and Tonka beans are somehow coming across the

border. I will advise the group if/when I receive a reply.

I recently noticed that my aunt and niece had imported vanilla from

Mexico in their cupboards.

I can understand the beans being allowed as they are used in pottpouri

and rodent killer but I'm surprised that the Vanilla is allowed in our

country.
