Guest guest
I will remember you like fondue books, I run across those in the thrift shops. I love those little books sold for profits by social clubs , churches and schools. I find all types of old family favorites in them and I would say most are tried and true, and very unique. I have an old favorite published by a high school in Hawaii and another one from local highs schools in So, Calif. and all these recipes are for Mexican food, you can usually sub. the ingredients and make them vegetarian. One needs to go to the bindery, I'm hoping they'll junk it. I left it with a note with my phone number so they can call me, I'll buy it. I have a bad cookbook habit too. Not as many as Donna, but lots. I pick them up at resale shops, but occasionally I get one from the cooking store near me. I'm a sucker for fondue cookbooks. My kids like to cook too, but kids cookbooks are shunned. the store donated a kids cookbook for my 11 year olds school silent auction, she paged through it, rolled her eyes and said 'I already know how to make all this stuff. Can we make California rolls now?' Did I post the recipe for Cowboy potatoes? Yummy french fries....AmyF
