Guest guest Posted May 18, 2006 Report Share Posted May 18, 2006 Hungarian Goulash 1 cup potatoes, peeled, sliced 1 cup onion, chopped 2 large garlic clove, pressed 1 1/4 tsps. paprika 1/2 tsp. caraway seed 1 bouillon cube, vegetable 2 tbsps. water 1 cup peas, fresh or frozen 1/2 tsp. black pepper 2 cups tomatoes, fresh, chopped 3 1/2 tsps. marjoram 1/4 cup safflower oil or vegetable stock 3 cups noodles, eggless, cooked In a large saucepan, combine all the ingredients, except the noodles. (My imagination's a bit narrow-- my version involves seitan.) I will definitely have to try this.
