Guest guest
I was heavier when I was lacto-ovo. I dropped quite a few pounds when I went vegan a few years back but I'm also really into healthy eating. Don't hate me, I can't help it! What do you expect from a nutritionist and fitness intructor?? BTW, Denise you said you couldn't exercise b/c of a back injury. I know its none of my business so feel free to ingore me but I teach Pilates at a physical therapists office and I thought this might interest you. The physical therapists refer their patients to my pilates class when their insurance runs out. I've had great results with people who have back injuries. You might want to look for a class like that in your area. Clearly you need to make sure anybody you work with is qualified and you never do anything that you are uncomfortable with but it might be an option for you, especially if you're in some pain. Guest guest
THank you, I appreciate your help. I have done pilates type excercises in physical therapy before, and they seem to be the best for me. Unfortunately, I am between jobs right now and the classess in the area are a bit expensive. I saw the neurosurgeon today, and he wants me to start with the pain management injections, and continue with the pain medicine. I hate being doped up, so I suffer throughout the day,and the nerver burning is miserable. I have to wait get 1 additional blood test done to confirm if I have lupus or fibromyalgia. I have one positive ANA for lupus, but they want to run another. I can barely sit so I lay down when watching television. Do you know of any nutritionist in Las Vegas, I really have been searching high and low for " real " nutritionist who is an expert in vegan or vegetarianw. I am almost vegan. I do not use any dairy or eggs at home, and eat limited butter or dairy in resturants. I dont even use butter on my pancakes if I eat them at Ihop. It is better to have fruit instead. I use vegan egg substitute- Energee, and soymilk to cook with. I have found a really great vegan butter substitute at whole foods. I am like a kid in a candy store at whole foods, so many vegan choices, I usually am very limited in vegas! Again, thank you for your suggestions!
