Guest guest
A great grilled corn on the cob recipe for you: I learned the hard way to be SURE to use yellow corn for this - white or sweet corn just gets rock hard instead of getting done. Beforehand, boil a big pot of water - enough to fully immerse your corn on the cob. While the water's boiling, add salt to it - the more you can get in there, the better. I mean SALTY - you want it briny. Remove the husks, etc. from your corn, and put your it DIRECTLY onto the hot coals. Use tongs & turn it frequently until it's done. Each cob usually takes about 5 minutes. I personally like mine a little burned, but do whatever you like best. When the corn is done, take it off the coals and plop it into your big pot of hot salty water. That'll wash all the ash off of it, and season it to boot. Serve your corn right out of the salt bath, if you like. ----Original Message---- devenvasko 05/17/2006 16:10 To: Subj: It's Summer! And we love to grill! Any great grill recipes!
