Guest guest Posted May 17, 2006 Report Share Posted May 17, 2006 Red Cabbage With Walnuts 1 red cabbage head 4 tablespoons butter 1 large onion, chopped 1 apple, chopped 1/4 cup raisins 1/4 teaspoon cloves 2 tablespoons lemon juice 1 tablespoon sugar 1/4 cup chopped walnuts Shred cabbage and steam it until nearly cooked. Saute with onions in butter. Add remaining ingredients, except nuts, in order, and cook until flavors have mixed. Stir in chopped nuts just before serving. serves 4. Messenger with Voice.
