With all the talk about turnip and rutabaga's I thought I would send mine.

 

Easy Spicy Rutabaga Dish

 

1 small rutabaga, diced 1 cup celery, sliced 1 cup carrots, sliced 1 clove

garlic, minced

1 jalapeno, minced 1 onion, chopped 1 cup vegetable stock 1/4 cup fresh

parsley, chopped

1 tbsp. butter salt pepper

 

In heavy sacepan, combine rutabaga, celery, carrots, garlic, onion and stock.

Bring to a boil; cover and simmer until vegetables are tender, about 20 minutes.

Uncover and cook until liquid has reduced to a glaze. Sprinkle with parsley,

butter, salt and pepper to taste. serves 6.
