Hi all,

 

Wednesday is Norwegian Independence Day and my little Seattle

neighborhood shows it's Norwegian heritage by having a parade which

lines up on my street (from 3 pm on my street is full of Vikings and

gnomes lol). Anyway, I always have a picnic (if anyone on this list

is around Ballard & wants to stop by, write me offlist ). I'm

planning black bean burgers and guacamole and hummus and baby carrots

and Christiane's polenta crackers. I'm looking for a Norwegian

influenced pasta salad - any ideas?

How fun! I will post a Swedish slaw/salad recipe for

you my Mom always made. We are all a bunch of

Scandi's so it will work if you are interested.

I'm too far away or I'd be there with you!
