Guest guest
Can you repost the recipe from the files or tell me the title? Did Sandy post it, I know she does post a lot of German recipes. I'd like to try it. TIA, Fiona , Kim Hoffman <scarlettvivian wrote: > > A few weeks ago, someone posted a recipe with wide egg noddles and sauerkraut. I substituted whole wheat egg noodles and added some grilled baby red potatoes and got my father and anti-kraut boyfriend hooked on this dish. Fantastic recipe - I'm making it again tonight to have for lunches this week. Thank you! > > > > >

German Noodle Side Dish Some tablespoons of butter or margarine 1 whole onion, chopped 1 pound can of sauerkraut, don't drain it 1 pound package of wide noodles, cooked Melt the butter and partially cook up the onion. Add the sauerkraut and cook until butter is absorbed and it's hot. Stir in the cooked noodles. This is good with the vegetarian brats. When I serve this I sprinkle some fresh cut herbs over the top. Chives, or little parsley, watercress, cilantro or sage.
