Guest guest
I tried doing a search for cookbooks in the archives and couldn't really find what I was looking for, do I thought, " Why not just ask? " So...what cookbooks do you find yourself reaching for again and again. I am looking to expand my veg cookbook selection and would love some advice. I have to replace my copy of Deborah Madison's Vegetarian Cooking for Everyone. The cover is falling off! Also when you are cooking with, for, the kids what cookbook is the one that is a hit over and over again. Thanks, Vikki in Hawaii
Guest guest
I don't have much help to give, I use a old red cookbook I found in the Goodwill store, the cover is torn off but it has some good recipes. Mostly I cook from the recipes in the group because if I need anything the members help me. They all taught me how to cook and the recipes turn out good and they are easy. Guest guest
Aside from Deborah Madison's book, Passionate Vegetarian by Crescent Dragonwagon, Vegetariana by Nava Atlas & Vegetable Heaven by Mollie Katzen get used a lot here. My kids eat whatever is served. Vegetable Heaven is where I learned to roast veggies. vmae71 <vhspot-newsletters wrote: So...what cookbooks do you find yourself reaching for again and again.
