Vinaigrette

1/3 cup red wine vinegar

1/2 cup reduced-sodium vegetable broth

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 teaspoons sugar

2 teaspoons Dijon mustard

1 teaspoon crushed mustard seeds

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon dried marjoram

1 teaspoon dried tarragon

1 teaspoon dried thyme

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon pepper

 

Combine all vinaigrette ingredients and mix well. Refrigerate until ready to

use. Can also be used for pasta or as a marinade.

Another dressing I have discovered lately and like...

 

Mix a little red currant jelly with red wine vinegar...suit to your taste. You

will be surprised! I

use Crosse & Blackwell's currant jelly...made by Smuckers.
