Guest guest Posted May 11, 2006 Report Share Posted May 11, 2006 Orange Scented Green Beans 2 pounds fresh green beans, trimmed and cut into 1- inch pieces 1/2 cup fresh orange juice 1 tablespoon finely grated orange peel 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar 1 teaspoon sugar 1 teaspoon grainy mustard 3/4 teaspoon salt 1/4 cup olive oil 1/2 cup finely chopped red onion fresh ground pepper Add green beans to boiling water and cook about 3 minutes or until crisp tender. Drain and set aside. Combine remaining ingredients in a container with a tight fitting lid and shake to mix. Toss beans with dressing and serve. 8 to 10 servings.
