Guest guest
I love wheatberries, and eat them all the time. They can be substituted for rice or pasta in any recipe. Since they have a little nutty flavor, I like to add things like dried cranberries and blueberries, along with toasted pecans, and toss with a raspberry vinaigrette. It's also good with a tamari/garlic/sesame oil/scallions/rice vinegar sauce, with asparagus, carrots & broccoli. Also, if you use vegetable broth to cook with, instead of just water, it adds a lot of flavor. Sorry, I never cook with recipes, more with ingredients and a sense of where I want to end up. That's why I don't bake; it's too precise, and I'm not!! whitney <starrypryncess Wednesday, May 10, 2006 7:57:40 AM Wheat Berries Does anyone have a recipe for wheat berries? I have a whole entire bag of them and I can't find a recipe that sounds good. Thanks, Whitney
