I started worm composting last year to deal with the plethora of vegetable

skins, peels etc. (a weak tie in to vegetarianism but I tried.) Its really

been phenominal for anything I've grown. This past weekend, while buying

blueberry bushes, a nursery owner tried to sell me some organic fertilizer to

lessen the shock of transplanting. I declined mentioning my worm bin. He got

really enthusiastic and said if we had the worm castings we didn't need anything

else.
