Don & June's Chewy Fruit Energy Bars 8 cups fruit (your choice-I used canned appricots and pears) mushed up in a blender 2 cups unsalted nuts (I used mixed nuts) 1 cup raw wheat germ Mix all ingredients together (add a little fruit juice if not mushy enough) and spread on dehydrator sheets. Don't put more than 2 cups on a sheet, and don't use more than 5 layers at a time in the dehydrator. This recipe makes about four sheets. Dehydtate until it pulls from the sheet like fruit leather. Stack four to five sheets on to of each other and press together. Cut into squares and enjoy. These are yummy, nutritious, and keep well for long periods.
